Bio

Melleaux (/ˈmelō/), Tulsa Hip Hop artist and producer, writes as though each line is an invitation for the listener into his mind. After graduating from the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM@UCO) and producing multiple artists, Melleaux decided to venture out on a solo career; releasing his first single "Bassmnt" in 2016. In 2018, he released his first project of the same title (Bassmnt - EP). Influenced and inspired by genres such as funk, hip-hop, chillwave, and r&b; Melleaux uses a minimalistic yet spacious musical palette, fortified by heavy bass lines. His lyrics are poetic, captivating and thought provoking. They speak often on his experience with depression, anxiety, mental health, and healing; to its importance and influence in our society today.
